Iliza Shlesinger
Iliza Vie Schlesinger was born on 22nd February, 1983 was an American comedian, actress and executive producer. She was the winner of 2008 on NBC's Last Comic Standing. She went on to host Separation Anxiety and the syndicated dating show Excused.
Shlesinger hosted Truth & Iliza (Freeform) in 2017 on her own late-night talk show. In 2022, she's released six comedy specials for Netflix. In April of 2020, Netflix premiered her sketch comedy series The Iliza Shlesinger Sketch show.
Iliza Vie Schlesinger was born to an Jewish family in New York City. [6] She was brought to Dallas, Texas by her parents, who relocated to Dallas when she was just a baby. She was a student at Addison's private Greenhill School, Texas where she was a student of Spanish and was part of the school's improv group.
Shlesinger appeared on ComedySportz Dallas. She also attended the University of Kansas her freshman year. She was a participant in Semester at Sea. She then transferred to Emerson College, Boston, Massachusetts. She majored in film. While at Emerson College she worked on her editing and writing skills as well as joined Jimmy's Traveling All Stars, a campus comedy sketch group.

Shlesinger graduated from college and moved to Los Angeles to pursue stand up comedy. She was one of the most popular members of the Whiteboy Comedy group of standup comedians in Los Angeles, which brought her on stage at The Improv in Hollywood.
